Celebrate the beauty of summer with a relaxing, adults-only wreath-making workshop set within the stunning surroundings of National Trust Hughenden Estate.
Join us for a creative and mindful morning where you’ll craft your very own bespoke summer wreath from scratch. Using natural willow, dried flowers, ornamental grasses, ribbons, and beautiful decorative accents, you’ll create a unique piece to display in your home all year round.
Whether your style is wild and meadow-inspired, soft and romantic, rustic countryside, or elegant and modern, this workshop gives you the freedom to create a wreath that’s completely your own.
🌿 What You’ll Do
Under the guidance of our experienced artist host, you’ll learn how to:
✨ Create a natural willow wreath base
✨ Weave and shape willow into a sturdy circular frame
✨ Add dried flowers, seed heads, and textured grasses
✨ Incorporate high-quality imitation flowers for lasting beauty
✨ Decorate with ribbons, bows, and seasonal embellishments
✨ Design and arrange your materials for a balanced, professional finish
No previous crafting experience is required — this workshop is suitable for complete beginners as well as experienced makers looking for a relaxing creative experience.

🌿 When You Arrive
Please arrive promptly at 10:00am and park in the visitors’ car park.
From there, make your way to Visitor Reception, where a member of the team will meet you and guide you to the workshop location.
Take a little time to enjoy the peaceful surroundings of Hughenden before your creative morning begins.

Nestled in the beautiful Chiltern Hills, Hughenden Estate is one of Buckinghamshire’s most treasured National Trust properties. Once home to Victorian Prime Minister Benjamin Disraeli and later a secret wartime map-making base, the estate offers a truly inspiring setting for creativity.
Surrounded by rolling countryside, woodland walks, and stunning gardens, it’s the perfect place to slow down, unwind, and make something beautiful.
