About Us

After careful planning and preparation, Easely Does It was launched at the start of 2020. The main goal of the endeavour was to make art a fun and accessible activity for everyone. Like anything, art can be made easy with a bit of direction. We wanted to show people that anyone can paint and that everyone is an artist. By breaking down complex techniques into easy-to-follow steps, Easely Does It aimed to demystify art and make it enjoyable for people of all skill levels.

Little did we know that 3 months after our first live session, the world would go into lockdown. This unforeseen event completely changed the way we live and work. Suddenly, in-person meetings were replaced by virtual ones, and staying home became the new normal. The importance of technology and connectivity became more evident than ever before. We had to adapt quickly to this new reality and find ways to stay connected and productive. It was a challenging time, but it also brought out our resilience and ability to adapt to unexpected circumstances. We’ve always had a knack for working around a problem (skills acquired from years of working on attraction and range launches) so we dove head first into Zoom and at it’s peak were running up to 3 sessions a day 7 days a week. little did we expect to be painting with people from as far away as California, Malta, Germany, The Netherlands, Singapore and Australia. It was a time when people needed connection and focus to their lives. Our online sessions were social events, with participants encouraged to chat about absolutely anything they wanted during the sessions, recreating the social connection of a live experience as best we could.

Another great thing that came from Lock down was a chance “Meeting” with Maria after her daughter participated in one of the Easely Does It Kids sessions, she joined the team. Not only does Maria’s passion for Life drawing and sculpture widen the range of workshops we offer, but for larger live events, we team up the create the Ultimate Dream Team!

In November 2021 we started offering wreath making workshops. To say this sky rocketed would be an understatement. We now make wreaths with between 300 and 400 people a season and have hosted events at venues such as The Sky Garden and The Wellington College.

In December of that year We also branched out into corporate events, this has ranged from poolside wreath making, macrame workshops for 90 people and 50 panel team painting installations for Newton Europe, to more intimate team paintings for the NHS and wreath making with Pepsi Co.

As we look back on that first session, we realise how much has changed and how much we have grown in the face of adversity.

We always include a bit of technical knowledge! To help improve your art and crafts skills. We use a variety of technics to get the finish result, hopefully something everyone will want to hang on their wall or give pride of place on their mantlepiece. That is why we always try to offer variations around a central theme so every creation is more personal. Not only do we want to introduce new people to the joys of creativity, but if we can help people who already dabble, then that’s great, right?

Toni’s daughter Poppy plays an important role in Easely Does It, making it a true family affair. As a budding artist and photographer herself, Poppy assists her mother during many of the sessions. Not only does she contribute her artistic skills, but she also offers her help in topping up any supplies that participants may need. With Poppy’s involvement, Easely Does It provides a personalized and family-oriented experience, ensuring that everyone receives the assistance they require.

Maria’s son, Felix, plays a crucial role in assisting her with paint nights when he is not away at university. He helps by ensuring that there is always a fresh supply for the participants. Felix’s involvement is valuable because it saves Maria time and allows her to focus on guiding the participants through the painting process.

Katy joined the team in 2023, assisting with larger events. Her bubbly proactive personality makes her the perfect addition to the Easely Does It team.
