Create your very own magical miniature cottage using a jam jar and colourful air-dry foam clay. Will your creation become a cheerful home for a rainbow unicorn fairy, a pink flower fairy, or perhaps a dark and mysterious dwelling for a grumpy woodland gnome?
Using bright colours, textures, flowers, and imaginative details, you’ll transform an ordinary jar into a whimsical fairy-tale cottage complete with windows, a front door, a removable roof, and a glowing battery-powered tea light inside.
Participants are encouraged to bring along a clean jam jar, although we will also have a limited selection of small jars available on the day.
No experience is needed—just bring your imagination and enjoy a fun-filled afternoon of family crafting.

Free parking is available at The Walled Garden, making it easy and convenient for families attending the workshop.
We recommend arriving at least 10 minutes before the session starts so you can settle in comfortably and enjoy refreshments from the café before we begin.

🫙 Please bring a clean jam jar if possible. We will have a limited number of small jars available for anyone who needs one.

Upon arrival, you’ll be welcomed by our friendly team and shown to your workspace.
Toni will guide you step-by-step through the process of transforming your jam jar into a magical cottage. Using soft, colourful foam clay, you’ll build walls, create textures, and design a removable roof before adding all the charming details that bring your cottage to life.
You’ll have the opportunity to:
🧚 Create a colourful fairy cottage for a rainbow unicorn fairy or flower fairy
🍄 Design a dark and mysterious cottage for a grumpy woodland gnome
🏡 Construct a removable roof to reveal the glowing light inside
🚪 Add a front door, windows, pathways, and magical details
